Through our purpose-built software, an ecosystem of people and processes is supported to simplify the transition to electrification. With 30 years of experience in the tech industry, Charlie brings a wealth of knowledge to this role. His success in new technological spaces – scaling them into profitable companies – shows how he has an exceptional vision for how products and companies should grow while caring deeply about his team and their success. Phil Nunn, Founder of Jumptech and Charlie reconnected after his return to the UK to set up the UK arm for Comestri, an ecommerce technology platform. People loving what they do is one of my core values, as anyone who has worked with me knows. In the process of scaling the business, I realised that I wasn’t enjoying my role as much as I once did. Taking my own advice, I decided to change my position. With that said, I will work on building the Jumptech business in the USA while still owning the culture and long-term vision, and pass the responsibilities to Charlie, who will take over as CEO. I’m excited to be starting the next stage of our growth, as we step into some key international markets, with the support of a fantastic group of investors Charlie Bodycote CEO, Jumptech Throughout his career Charlie’s passion for technology and the belief in its power to transform a business saw Charlie manage development projects for leading software providers including Microsoft, Lucent and Cisco at the start of his career. With his entrepreneurial spirit, Charlie joined a major fashion retailer in its early stages in 2003. In his role as Chief Technology Officer, he led teams to develop and deliver a world-class ecommerce infrastructure for the brand, gaining extensive experience within the retail industry. Having identified that emerging markets had yet to gain the same traction in ecommerce, Charlie moved to Hong Kong to gain an early advantage.As COO of Outblaze, Charlie helped to execute a major asset sale to IBM and led several business integration activities for the merged entity. He later joined Lane Crawford as Director of Online Technology and Operations, to build a team that could develop and scale their ecommerce strategy. His journey of the ecommerce retail industry in China, saw Charlie embark on another entrepreneurial opportunity.
