Cambridge, UK – 13 April 2022 – ScottishPower collaborates with Jumptech, an EV charger installation software company, to expedite home EV charging. Jumptech’s platform integrates installation processes and communications, utilising its Relay self-survey tool for property information input. This ensures any necessary supply upgrades are identified beforehand. Customers can confirm eligibility for an OZEV grant and standard install price criteria. The seamless integration streamlines the installation journey, enhancing the overall EV adoption experience.

As the adoption of EV’s and our Smart EV Home Charge offering continues to grow, Jumptech enables us to service this demand whilst ensuring we provide the best possible experience by fully integrating the customers journey.

ScottishPower’s first EV tariff, SmartPower Green EV, launched in 2019. The surge in EV adoption resulted in more battery EVs sold in March 2022 than the entirety of 2019, as per recent data from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT).

This partnership marks Jumptech’s second announcement in 2022, following a deal with charging technology company Hypervolt in January. In 2021, Jumptech expanded its operations to Australia through a partnership with charging specialist EVSE.

Additionally, Jumptech integrated its installer management platform with ev.energy’s EV owner smart charging software platform. Industry leaders like Indra, Easee UK, ProjectEV, TSG UK, Fulcrum, BP Pulse, Pod Point, YESSS EV & Energy, and Good Energy adopted Jumptech’s software.

We’re delighted to be working with ScottishPower as they continue to support the adoption of electric vehicles with their Smart EV home charger offering and attractive green EV tariffs.
